Driver charged with refusal in OPP RIDE Program. OPP tell myFM, on September 6th, Police were engaged in a RIDE program on an off ramp from the 402 to Glendon Drive in Strathroy-Caradoc. A vehicle entered the Program at which time a traffic stop was initiated. It was determined the driver had previously consumed alcohol.
An Approved Screening Device (ASD) was utilized. The driver refused to provide a sample, was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment. A 33-year-old of Middlesex Centre, has been charged.
