Time for our next feature for Your Money, Your Community…today, with local realtor with Platinum Key Realty Nicole Miller.
Nicole, who’s been in real estate for about 8 years, says when she bought her first house at the age of 21, it was not a good experience. The agent she worked with was pushy and she felt lost.
She says that’s why she wanted to get into real estate herself, adding she gives every client a positive, supportive experience as they go through buying and selling their home.
Nicole says the market is currently adjusting, and homes aren’t selling as quickly as they used to. That’s why creative marketing, including staging, is so important…to catch buyer’s attention.
Customer service is at the core of what she does and Nicole says clients often become friends.
Every meeting starts with their story, why they’re buying and selling. Nicole says she reviews current market information to make sure the list price is on point then chats about how to make the client’s home shine with staging, cleaning and photography. Together, Nicole and the client map out a plan to get results.
Nicole says community involvement is also very important to her. She’s been involved in many different initiatives including Fill The Fridge with the Women’s Rural Resource Centre, supporting local kids in sports and she’s currently working on relaunching the Women In Business networking group.
