Hensall Co-op, alongside its Board of Directors and dedicated employees, is proud to announce the recipients of the fourth annual Bright Futures Scholarship program. This year, six outstanding students from across Southwestern Ontario have been awarded a total of $15,000 to help fund their post-secondary education.
Among the recipients is Kyle Dodge of Strathroy, who is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at Western University.
“Farming continues to benefit from advancements in technology and artificial intelligence,” said Dodge. “I hope to contribute to innovation in this field through the skills I gain during my studies.”
The Bright Futures Scholarship is designed to support students entering post-secondary programs in agriculture, skilled trades, or fields that strengthen rural communities. The award is open to children and grandchildren of Hensall Co-op members or employees (as of March 1 of the application year).
Since its inception, the scholarship program has provided thousands of dollars to empower and invest in the next generation of rural leaders.
