A pretty prestigious event is coming up in early November and tickets are moving fast. Curator at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc Michelle Wright tells us the event will honour Sir Arthur Currie.
Celebrating Sir Arthur Currie’s 150th birthday will happen November 2nd at the Caradoc Community Centre in Mount Brydges.
It will be a World War One Regimental Style Dinner, tickets are $60 each or $110/couple. Andy Robertshaw will be the guest speaker covering “Digging the trenches: the Archeaology of the Western Front”, plus a bonus talk from Brian Angyal on Sir Arthur Currie. Wright says a lot of work has gone into this.
You can get tickets now by contacting the museum or going onto the museum website, and the sooner the better.
