With the holidays around the corner, the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM are joining up for the 12 Days of Holiday Fire and CO Safety tips. myFM News will be providing you with a new tip each day leading up to Christmas weekend. Today marks day #4 and Fire Prevention Officer Jayson Chabot says today’s tip has everything to do with alarms.
Chabot adds there are many different types of alarms out there as long as you are replacing your alarm with a newer model.
