With the holidays around the corner, the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department and myFM News are joining up for the 12 Days of Holiday Fire and CO Safety tips. myFM News will be providing you with a new tip each day leading up to Christmas weekend. Today marks day #11 and Fire Chief Stephen Beazley talks about lighting up.
Beazley adds in addition by smoking outside it prevents an accident like an errant ash getting on the furniture and starting a spark.
