UPDATE- 1:18pm: Strathroy-Caradoc Police have informed myFM they now have a suspect in custody.
Strathroy-Caradoc, ON –
Police Investigation – Public Advisory Police are currently investigating a Fail to Remain incident in the area of Longwoods Road and Sutherland Road. The driver involved fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival. The driver is described as Male, 20-30yrs old, Brown jacket, baseball cap, shaggy brown hair.
Members of the public will notice an increased police presence in the surrounding areas, including Longwoods Road, Sutherland Road, Switzer Drive, and Glen Oak Road.
For public safety, Police are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Property owners in the vicinity are also asked to remain vigilant. If you observe anyone suspicious or have information that may assist with this investigation, please contact police immediately.
