Strathroy-Caradoc Police Constable Ben Landers scored the winner as the Police Services team beat the Strathroy Rockets 6-5 in overtime Sunday night in front of over 300 fans in attendance.
The night was focused on raising funds for three charity of choices:
The Indigenous Athletic Development Circle, which supports Indigenous youth and athletes by building confidence, wellness, and leadership through sport and cultural connection.
37 Frank is a local youth centre in Strathroy that provides a safe, welcoming place for young people. They help meet basic needs like food, clothing, warmth, showers, laundry, and also connect youth with support and resources in the community.
Strathroy Minor Hockey Jr. Rockets Assistance Program. This program helps ensure that local kids can participate in minor hockey by providing support for registration fees, equipment, and access to the sport, no matter a family’s financial situation.
