Police were called to investigate the incident and, following a thorough investigation, five youths have been arrested and charged in relation to this matter. In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), no further details or names of the youths can be released.
Police are reminding students, parents, and the broader community that violence does not solve conflict. Members of the public are encouraged to report concerns directly to school administration and to avoid becoming involved or taking matters into their own hands.
