For the third year, Strathroy will host the Hariprabodham Volleyball Tournament Saturday and Sunday at Strathroy District Collegiate Institute. The event is expected to draw more than 460 players, over 100 spectators, and 120 volunteers. Coordinator, Nemi Shah told myFM the details.
The tournament is organized by YDS Canada, a charitable nonprofit with centers across the country from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island.

This is the ninth year of the tournament and the third year it has been held in Strathroy. Shah explains why Strathroy and SDCI was chosen to host the tournament.
The SDCI facility provides five courts under one roof, plenty of space for ceremonies. The tournament is structured so participants register individually, and teams are formed through a draft system to make competition fair for everyone. Admission for the public is free, while players pay a fee that covers facility costs and overnight accommodations.
The tournament also emphasizes unity and respect, guided by a spiritual leader according to Shah.

The tournament runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days, offering plenty of action for fans to enjoy.
