A Fraud Awareness Program is coming to the Strathroy Library next month, aimed at helping residents recognize scams and protect themselves from financial crime. The session will feature Constable Katherine Lockwood of the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service and Constable Jeff Hare of the Ontario Provincial Police. They’ll discuss common and emerging scams targeting Ontario residents and share practical tips on how individuals and families can stay safe.
The program takes place Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Strathroy Library, 34 Frank Street. Residents can also attend virtually through Zoom. Registration is required by calling 519-245-1290 or visiting home page – Middlesex County Library. Community members are encouraged to attend, as awareness remains one of the strongest tools in preventing fraud.
