The weather has warmed up and the maple syrup is flowing, ahead of a couple fun events this weekend. The first is the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority/A.W. Campbell Maple Syrup Festival coming up this Saturday. Manager of Communications with the Authority, Donna Blue tells myFM what they have planned.
This weekend, Blue tells us there is a unique educational portion of your visit.
Blue recommends people take the shuttle to the conservation area, from the Brooke-Alvinston Arena anytime between 10am til 3pm. The Alvinston Fire Fighters Association will also be holding their annual pancake breakfast both Saturday and Sunday at the Arena. For the Maple Syrup Festival it’s $5 a person, and children 5 and under are free which includes admission to the Conservation area and the shuttle which runs between the Conservation area and Alvinston arena.
