The Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department this week was awarded $50,000 through the Fire Protection Grant to enhance their equipment. This funding will go towards the purchase and installation of an SCBA Circul-Air Roto-Decon unit, as well as two washer-dryer combos. These new upgrades are designed to minimize firefighter exposure to harmful contaminants, ensuring they have the proper tools to stay safe while on duty.
MPP Steve Pinsonneault presented the cheque to Fire Chief Steve Beasley and Deputy Chief Stephanie Cyros to celebrate this important investment. Supporting modern, life-saving equipment is key to safeguarding our first responders and the communities they protect.
