The art was made carefully, over about 6 months, by both residents of Strathmere and local high school students over laughs and conversation and admiration. Strathmere’s Barb Thyssen tells us how this unique project started.
That’s Kristie Ouellette and she tells us how they pair the artists up.
Kristie says a local artist, the wife of one of their residents, helped out this time around.
Barb says the benefits of the program go much further than the art piece that’s created.
Barb expands on other ways the students benefit.
The beautiful art that’s been created through this program is changed out regularly, so residents and visitors can admire the creations.
