We see the Parkinson’s flag flying at Strathroy-Caradoc Town Hall right now, as we mark Parkinson’s Awareness Month and it might surprise residents here that we have our own support group locally.
Angela Beer, who works at Seasons Retirement Community is the facilitator for the Strathroy Parkinson’s Support Group.
Beer says people are at ease.
And the meetings aren’t just for those who have Parkinson’s.
As for what they talk about in the meetings?
The Strathroy Parkinson’s Support Group meets on the third Tuesday of every month from 1:30 til 3pm at Seasons.
