Residents in the Municipality of North Middlesex are being advised of a planned water system shutdown for maintenance. Officials say the work will take place on April 15th starting at 5:00 a.m. and continue until April 16th at 3:00 a.m. The shutdown is needed so crews can carry out maintenance on the Lake Huron Water Supply transmission main.
During this time, residents may notice low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service. To help keep the system running safely, residents are being asked to reduce their water use as much as possible. This includes limiting activities such as laundry, showers, and dishwashing, and avoiding watering lawns.
Officials say these steps will help maintain proper water levels while the work is being completed. Anyone experiencing a water-related emergency during the shutdown can call 519-494-0312 for assistance.
