A traffic complaint has lead to charges for a Melbourne driver. OPP tell myFM, on April 1st, they were notified of a traffic complaint of a vehicle possibly travelling to a location in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre from the City of London. Officers found the vehicle at the intersection of Carriage and Longwoods Roads, when a traffic stop was initiated, however the vehicle failed to stop. Due to public safety concerns, officers terminated the short pursuit.
The vehicle was then found shortly after at a business on Muncey Road at which time officers stopped the vehicle. A 58-year-old of Melbourne has been charged with multiple offenses, was released from Police custody and is slated to see the inside of a court room in May.
