As myFM told you earlier today, two young females were taken into police custody Wednesday evening after being retrieved from the top of one of the old Strathroy flour mill buildings by firefighters.
With help from the Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department, both youths were safely brought down from the roof. They were then spoken to by police.
Officials say the youths, who cannot be identified under the law, have been dealt with under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and the Trespass to Property Act.
Police are reminding the public that entering private property without permission and taking part in unsafe activities can lead to charges under both federal and provincial laws.
