With 2026 being a municipal election, we still have to see if a lot of familiar faces or new faces will put their names on the ballot this Fall. If you are thinking about running in the election, Marci Ivanic, Director of Legislative Services and Clerk for Middlesex County tells myFM they are hosting an event next week.
Neighbouring municipalities have done this in the past so the County decided to try it and if successful will do it again for the next election.
She says this is an event where potential candidates can go to get important information, and allow for everyone across the county to get the same information.
All eight County municipalities will also be represented.
