A parcel of land on Frances Street behind McDonald’s in Strathroy has just been given the green light for development. Strathroy-Caradoc Council approved a zoning bylaw amendment Monday night for the 2.75 acres on Frances, beside the police station.
Manager of Planning Tim Williams explains what a change to R3 means.
Williams says there’s no specific plans for the property yet.
Williams says the rezoning would allow for multi-unit buildings, likely townhouses or stacked townhouses. But again, there are no current plans for the lot.
