Hundreds of people checked out Strathroy’s new fire station #1 Saturday during the public open house. myFM was on location and talked to some residents.
Overall, all visitors to the open house were very impressed.
Prior to the open house, the fire department welcomed neighbours on Metcalfe Street and surrounding area who’ve been very patient with the months and months of construction at the site as well as retired firefighters coming in for a look at the new digs.
