Pretty exciting summer awaits the local Rover Scouts from the 1st Strathroy Scouts group. Four Rover Scouts will be traveling to Finland, Iceland, and Estonia this summer, and Rover Scout Auden Monteith says they are pretty excited.
Rover Scouts are the highest level with members aged between 18 and 26 years old.
Monteith says they had a few places in mind to go.
So they are doing some fundraisers to help alleviate the cost of the trip with one happening later in April.
Other fundraisers will be a spaghetti dinner and Krispy Kreme fundraiser with dates to be determined, plus a meat fundraiser and pancake breakfast. He added nothing like this happens without some help.
