A simple thank you from Ward 2 councillor Greg Willsie to Deputy Mayor Mike McGuire turned into a conversation at Strathroy-Caradoc council last week, about a very special landmark we’ll soon lose access to. Both Council members are encouraging local service clubs and individuals to tour the historic Middlesex County Building in London, where county council meets, before it’s too late.
The Deputy Mayor recently set up a tour for Mount Brydges scouts, at Willsie’s request.
McGuire echoed Willsie’s sentiments.
The Middlesex County Courthouse was built in the late 1820’s…so is very close to 200 years old. If you or your service club would like to tour the building, reach out to the Mayor or Deputy Mayor, who both sit on county council.
