Last week, officers from the London, St. Thomas, Aylmer, Stratford, and Strathroy-Caradoc Police Services joined forces for the Four Counties Traffic Initiative, aiming to keep local roads safe for everyone.
During the day-long operation, officers carried out proactive traffic enforcement throughout the communities, stopping 42 vehicles, laying 29 charges, issuing 13 verbal warnings, and removing two vehicle plates after determining the vehicles were unsafe. Road safety is a shared responsibility, and initiatives like this play an important role in protecting drivers, passengers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
