The Middlesex County Library is offering local families support through a program designed to help children manage worries and strong emotions.
The program, called M.I.friends, is aimed at children aged three and older and is currently open to residents of Middlesex County.
Library officials say the self-directed program gives children and parents tools to better understand emotions and learn self-regulation skills together at home.
Families who register will receive access to a digital platform, support videos and activities, parent resources, and a comfort toy named “Poppy” to help children work through the program.
The library says the program is designed to give parents practical strategies and suggestions they can use to support their child’s emotional development.
Residents interested in taking part or learning more are encouraged to contact the library by email at khulley@middlesex.ca
Stay tuned next week for our interview with Ki Hulley at the Library!
