Following a successful and busy night market last weekend, the Downtown Strathroy Market kicks off its season this Saturday. There’s an extra hour each Saturday with the market now running from 9am until 1pm, the market will now run rain or shine but not if there are thunderstorms in the forecast and councillor Steve Pelkman shares some other good news.
The morning markets will also now be located fully on Front Street, not on Frank Street, at least for the time being. There are just over 30 vendors signed up so far and the town says you can expect food and coffee, and great live entertainment.
