A pavilion in the area of Strathroy’s splash pad is a step closer to reality.
Strathroy-Caradoc council has approved allocating up to 15-thousand dollars through the Progress Through Partnership Fund, matching a $15-thousand dollar donation made by the Strathroy Lions Club.
The proposed pavilion will provide users with much needed shade, creating a more comfortable environment for caregivers supervising children.
The HCC construction class has once again offered to help build the structure, similar to the recent project at the Arda Falconer Memorial Community Gardens.
