Animal lovers will have a chance to find a new furry friend at an upcoming cat adoption event in Glencoe this summer.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 20th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 268 Currie Street in Glencoe.
Visitors will be able to meet many kittens and adult cats that are looking for loving forever homes. Several cats that previously raised litters in the shelter are also now ready for adoption.
There will also be a special promotion during the event, with reduced adoption fees of $200 for cats one year and older.
Along with adoptions, the event will feature raffle prizes, with all proceeds going back to support shelter animals. Kernels popcorn will also be available for $3 per bag, and Southwest Middlesex dog licensing will be offered on site.
Organizers say donations of supplies are welcome, and they encourage families and community members to attend and help give the animals a better chance at finding homes.
