Construction is now underway at a downtown Strathroy parking lot as the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc moves forward with improvement work in the area.
The project began this morning at the municipal parking lot located at 29 Centre Street West behind the Clock Tower and is expected to continue until July 10th.
Municipal officials say the parking lot is closed during construction.
To help accommodate downtown visitors and businesses, additional public parking is available at 137 Frank Street. Street parking is also available along Frank Street and Centre Street West.
The municipality says updates on the project will be provided as they become available and is thanking residents, businesses, and visitors for their patience while the improvements are completed.
