Middlesex County is trying out a new ambulance that looks more like minivan, has more space and is much less expensive than current ambulances, used across the province. Deputy Mayor Mike McGuire, who like the Mayor, also sits on County Council, shared the news with Strathroy-Caradoc Council earlier this week.
McGuire says there are a lot of benefits with these new ambulances.
There’s no word on when this type of ambulance might be used in Strathroy-Caradoc.
McGuire also highlighted another interesting project, meant to help Middlesex-London Paramedics.
McGuire says it’s hoped the data collected helps the paramedics and they hope there’s a financial benefit to it as well.
