The Strathroy Rockets and the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc have extended their advertising partnership through the end of the 2030 hockey season.
The agreement gives the Rockets the exclusive right to manage advertising inside the West Middlesex Memorial Centre. The original deal began in 2024 and was set to run until 2027, but both sides agreed to extend it early.
The Rockets say the new agreement is about more than advertising. It shows a shared commitment to keeping junior hockey strong in Strathroy and supporting the local community.
Since new ownership took over, the Rockets have seen some decline in attendance numbers averaging 270, 258, 428 and 373 fans per game ranging from this past season to the 2022-23 regular season according to league stats. However, the organization has added more business sponsors, returned to the Sutherland Cup Playoffs, and strengthened ties with local families and businesses.
The team has also focused on giving back. During the 2025-26 season, the Rockets donated more than $12,000 to local charities and community groups through fundraising events and special game nights.
