A fatal transport truck collision on Highway 401 is under investigation by Middlesex County OPP. Emergency crews, including OPP, Middlesex-London Paramedic Service and local fire departments, were called to the westbound lanes in the City of London at approximately 5:40 Thursday afternoon after two transport trucks collided. The driver of one truck was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger in the second transport truck were not injured. OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement, or TIME team, remains on scene assisting with the investigation.
