It’s Lerners LLP Growing Up On The Farm; local families building the future of agriculture — one generation at a time…fueled by Kubota. Today we are looking at Future Hope Farms presented by McLeod Water Wells. Carl and Esther VanderDeen have a turkey farm just outside of Strathroy and also farm some beef cattle and cash crops consisting of corn, wheat, soybeans and hay.
Carl says the family has been in the turkey biz for a long time now.
Carl and Esther’s children help out on the farm as well.
The couple says they feel very blessed to be able to farm as a family and like their name implies, their hope for the future and their children to be part of the farm’s future, is strong.
