The Downtown Strathroy Night Market is returning on August 1st with an evening full of shopping, food, music, and family fun.
Booking and Events Coordinator Kait Topham says this year’s “Light Up the Night Market” has plenty for visitors to enjoy.
Topham says evening markets continue to grow in popularity because they are a great option for families and people who may not be able to attend daytime events.
The Night Market will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Strathroy.
Topham says in the past, some cars have been left inside the market area, but many owners have embraced the experience and even decorated their vehicles while they wait.
The event will also feature live music thoughtout the evening.
Topham reminds residents that outside alcohol is not permitted.
Topham says events like the Night Market help bring people together and support local businesses.
The event is supported by community sponsors Veriform, Axiom Mutual, Norterra, and the Downtown Strathroy BIA.
