Drivers should expect heavier traffic in Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex beginning August 8th as the International Softball Congress men’s fastball championship gets underway. The tournament runs through August 15th and will welcome athletes and spectators from across Canada and the United States. More than 40 teams are expected to compete, attracting thousands of players, team officials, volunteers, vendors and fans. Games will be played at the JDT First Energy Veterans Memorial Fields in Melbourne and the Southwest Middlesex Recreation Complex in Glencoe.
