Middlesex OPP are investigating multiple break-ins at homes under construction in Ilderton. On August 9, 2026, at 3:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to a construction site on Woodmere Path in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre after reports of multiple break and enters. Police determined an unknown individual or individuals broke into three separate homes under construction sometime overnight and stole miscellaneous tools. The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, with cash rewards up to $2,000.
