The Strathroy Toastmasters Club has been named the myFM Ricco Foods Community Partner for the Month for August. The club focuses in on making public speaking in all perspectives more comfortable for individuals. Club President Ross Cunningham says the group is excited to introduce more people to Toastmasters.
Cunningham told myFM what the Toastmasters are all about.
Members can choose different areas to focus on, including presentation skills, leadership and humour.
The Strathroy club meets every Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gemini Sportsplex, or members can join online through Zoom. Cunningham says for those wanting to join the program, its very easy.
