The Salvation Army is low on some food and hygiene items and is having to buy products now to meet the growing need of community members.
Community and Family Services Support Worker Tasha Hebert explains.
She tells us why she thinks that is.
Hebert says they’ve been getting a lot of fruit and vegetables donated, which is great but they’re in need of a lot of basic items.
If you’re able to drop off items, the Salvation Army is open Mon-Fri from 9:30 til 3:30 at 271 Metcalfe Street East and the myFM All Hands on Deck Food Drive is another great opportunity, a week from Thursday, August 27th at various stores across the community.
