Families in Strathroy are invited to a free community event happening this week!
The Women’s Rural Resource Centre is hosting the Rural Family and Friends Block Party on Thursday, August 27th, at Alexandra Park.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer plenty of free activities for families and friends to enjoy.
There will be a free BBQ and treats, live entertainment and line dancing. Kids can enjoy bouncy castles, a dunk tank and face painting.
There will also be giveaways, along with community groups offering information about local resources and support.
Organizers are inviting everyone to bring their family and friends and spend the day enjoying the event and connecting with others in the community.
