The 2026 municipal election race in Adelaide-Metcalfe is fairly quiet one for the upcoming election.
Susan Clarke has already been acclaimed as mayor, meaning she will return to the top seat for another term without a mayoral election.
The race for council is a little more competitive. Four councillors will be elected, with five candidates currently running for those seats.
The candidates are Garett Kingma, Andrew Campbell, Michael Brodie, David Bolton and Eric Denison.
With five people running for four seats, only one candidate will miss out on a council seat.
Residents of Adelaide-Metcalfe will head to the polls in the 2026 municipal election on October 26th to choose their four councillors, while Clarke will return as mayor by acclamation.
