A 19-year-old Watford man is facing impaired driving charges after police received a complaint about an ATV on the road in Adelaide Metcalfe.
Middlesex County OPP were called to Inadale Drive around 4:23 a.m. on August 22nd after receiving a report of a suspicious ATV stopped in a live traffic lane.
When officers arrived, they conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver.
A 19-year-old of Watford, has been charged with impaired operation by alcohol, impaired operation with a blood alcohol level over 80, and several other Highway Traffic Act offences.
The charges include driving without plates and failing to surrender a driver’s licence. The driver is also facing charges related to being a novice and young driver with alcohol in his system.
Police are reminding the public to report suspicious activity or suspected impaired drivers to the OPP or their local police service.
