Housing inventory hit a new high last month in the London-St. Thomas area, which includes Strathroy-Caradoc.
526 homes changed hands in August.
Robin Tiller, Chair of the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors, says historically they see slower sales in the summer, but August numbers are on par with activity over the past four years.
The activity in August showed signs of a buyers’ market and the average home price was just over $590,000.
