Josh Randall is a first time candidate in this fall’s municipal election in Strathroy-Caradoc. Running for councillor in Ward 2 Randall, who presently calls Mt. Brydges home, has lived in the area for more than 20 years.
Randall tells us about a variety of experience he has related to politics at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
A novice candidate – Randall tells us he decided to run in Ward 2 in hopes of changing how municipal business is conducted.
We asked Randall to expand on his concerns about transparency at town hall.
Randall cited the timing of in-camera meetings which he says are generally scheduled at the start of a council meeting.
Randall is also critical of what he calls a lack of information on what is going on when dealing with things like municipal infrastructure.
On the campaign trail itself – Randall says his approach is old-school and new-school.
