A few events you may want to mark down on your calendar when it comes to the race for the Mayor’s seat in October. October 6th, incumbent Colin Grantham will be hosting his second of two open houses beginning at 6pm. The next night October 7th there will be a mayoral debate starting at 7pm at the Portuguese Canadian club in Strathroy, a presentation of Rogers TV and free to the public. Councillor Brian Derbyshire will be hosting an open house October 14th also at the Portuguese Canadian Club in Strathroy. A post on social media states the evening will be informal and involve a conversation about the future of Strathroy-Caradoc. The Open House starts at 7 and goes until 9pm.
