There was steady foot traffic at the Strathroy-Caradoc municipal candidates’ meet and greet event at Willow Tree Golf and Event Centre Wednesday evening. The two hour drop in event featured candidates in Ward 1 and 2, for Mayor and Deputy Mayor and for the school board trustees, organized by the Chamber of Commerce.
Linda Lamont who lives on a farm just outside Strathroy told myFM she’s been paying attention to the election campaign so far.
Mark Featherstone says it was a very worth while event.
The Mayor’s debate comes up next Wednesday evening, at the Portuguese Canadian Club on Rogers TV.
