A 31-year-old Petrolia resident is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic complaint on Highway 402 in Strathroy-Caradoc. Middlesex County OPP say officers received a traffic complaint around 6:19 p.m. Thursday, October 1, about a possible impaired driver travelling westbound on Highway 402. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
A 31-year-old has been charged under the Criminal Code with failure or refusal to comply with a demand and operation while impaired by alcohol. Freer was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on November 3.
