Police say the incident occurred sometime between the evening of Friday, October 2nd, and the morning of Monday, October 5th.
The residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
Police are asking residents in the area to check doorbell cameras, home security systems and other video surveillance for footage that could assist with the investigation.
Anyone who was in the area during that timeframe and witnessed anything suspicious, or has information that may help police, is asked to contact the Strathroy-Caradoc Police Service.
Police say even seemingly minor details could prove helpful. Anyone with relevant video footage is asked to save it and contact police.
