Golfers in the Thursday night men’s league at Caradoc Sands Golf Club are once again turning their time on the course into support for the community.
For the 5th consecutive year, league members pre-paid to reserve their regular tee times for the entire season, helping simplify scheduling while raising money for charity.
Men’s Night Coordinator Mike Tanguay says the initiative raised a total of $4,475 this year, with the funds divided equally among four local healthcare and community organizations.
The Strathroy Salvation Army, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation, London Health Sciences Centre Cardiac Unit and Strathroy Hospice will each receive $1,118.75.
The annual initiative combines a love of golf with a commitment to giving back, benefiting organizations that provide important services throughout the community.
