There appears to be an appetite for at least more discussion about allowing e-scooters in Strathroy-Caradoc in the future. Following a presentation by Police Chief Mark Campbell to council Monday, councillors including Brian Derbyshire felt it was worth exploring.
Derbyshire indicated the town’s traffic bylaw may need a review.
Councillor Donna Pammer agrees the discussion should continue.
Currently, e-scooters are not allowed on public property anywhere in Strathroy-Caradoc. London allows them, but they also have a much more advance network of bike paths to help keep users safe.
