Warwick Township voters have elected four councillors to serve alongside Mayor Todd Case for the 2026 to 2030 term.
Case was acclaimed as mayor, while Jane Joris led the six-candidate councillor race with 800 votes in Monday’s municipal election.
Joe Manning finished second with 779 votes, followed by John Couwenberg with 682 and Wayne Morris with 654. Those four candidates secured the council seats.
Marty Vanos received 582 votes, while Steve Kettler finished with 127.
The election marks a change at the council table, with Joris joining the incoming council after challenging several candidates with previous municipal experience.
Case returns as mayor after being acclaimed for the position. He previously returned to municipal politics in the 2022 election.
Several school board trustee positions were also decided without a contested vote. Roberta Northmore was acclaimed to the Lambton Kent District School Board, while Michael Salvatore and David Paradis were acclaimed to French-language school board positions.
The Township’s preliminary results were published on its official website. The figures remain unofficial pending confirmation by the municipal clerk.
Residents can find the election information and results on the Township of Warwick website.
